CareFlight is an Australian not-for-profit aeromedical organisation. Their mission is to save lives, speed recovery and serve the community.
They operate from locations in NSW, northern WA and the Top End of the NT. Our specially trained doctors, nurses and paramedics use helicopters, aeroplanes, medi-jets and road ambulances to bring a hospital level of care to over 5,000 patients each year. They also deploy medical professionals to remote oil, gas & mining sites, both onshore and offshore.
The role
They currently have a new opportunity for a relationship development officer to join Fundraising & Community Engagement division based at Northmead Headquarters.
Key responsibilities include:
- securing face to face meetings with donors and bequest supporters
- travelling throughout metro and regional NSW (regularly) to ensure face to face donor contact
- executing a sales strategy to increase both donor giving levels and donor will inclusion
- fostering and maintain good relationships with existing donors and bequest intenders
- developing and implement a NSW wide territorial plan to ensure (mid to high level) donor personal contact
- maintaining CRM and sales pipeline systems
- assisting with community engagement events as required, including public speaking
About you
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a similar role and have:
- demonstrated sales or fundraising experience
- the willingness and ability to travel throughout NSW (including overnight) approximately 20-30 days per year
- excellent communication skills – written, face to face and over the phone
- the confidence and ability to call existing donors with a view to securing meetings
- the ability and drive to see a deal through to closing stage
- excellent organisation and time management skills
- proficient writing skills
- competency in Excel, Word, Outlook and in using CRM and other systems
- the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- a current NSW driver’s licence
