About This Role
St. John Ambulance WA are seeking Qualified Paramedics and Ambulance Officers to join St John on a permanent and full time basis.

Qualifications Needed for Applicants
To be considered as a Qualified Paramedic:
- Employed with a recognized Ambulance Service within the last 12 months
- Hold a Paramedical Health Science Degree or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 year’s work experience and demonstrate the following experience and tenure;
- Victoria Ambulance Service- MICA level with at least 2 years on road experience at that level
- New South Wales Ambulance Service- Intensive Care Paramedic level with a minimum of 2 years on-road experience
- Queensland Ambulance Service- Critical Care Paramedic level with a minimum of 2 years on-road experience
- St John Ambulance, Northern Territory- Advanced Care Paramedic level with a minimum of 2 years on-road experience
- All other Ambulance jurisdictions- Evidence of working within a recognized Ambulance
- Service for a minimum of two years within a scope of practice equivalent to that of St John Ambulance, Western Australia
- Current registration with a relevant registration body if previously employed with an overseas Ambulance Service
To be considered as a GD II Ambulance Officer:
- Employed with a recognized Ambulance Service within the last 12 months
- Hold a Paramedical Health Science Degree or equivalent
- Demonstrate the following experience and tenure;
- Victoria Ambulance Service- Ambulance Paramedic level with a minimum of 2 years on-road experience
- New South Wales Ambulance Service- minimum Paramedic 1 level with a minimum of 2 years on-road experience
- Queensland Ambulance Service- Advanced Care Paramedic level with a minimum of 2 years on-road experience
- St John Ambulance, Northern Territory- Paramedic level with a minimum of 2 years on-road experience
- All other Ambulance jurisdictions- Evidence of working within a recognized Ambulance Service for a minimum of two years within a scope of practice equivalent to that of St John Ambulance, Western Australia
- Current registration with a relevant registration body if previously employed with an overseas Ambulance Service
Applicants Must Hold
- Permanent working rights in Australia as Sponsorship opportunities are not available.
- A no restrictions Western Australian ‘C’ or ‘CA’ class driver’s license or equivalent, probationary drivers will not be accepted.
- Demonstrate a good driving history with no more than six demerit points or recent serious convictions.
