The South Australia Ambulance Service Patient Transfer Officer/Patient Transport Officer (PTO) position responds non-emergency care requests and transportation of patients.

PTO’s look after patients to ensure the best clinical outcomes are achieved.  PTO’s work closely with hospital staff and nursing home personnel to make sure every patient receives the highest level of care and attention.
