Part-time jobs for qualified ambulance officers – Eastern Suburbs Melbourne

Acute Health, a provider of first aid and medical care in Australia, is looking for skilled part-time ambulance officers to add to its health care service team.

The job involves working on site for clients, rendering proper first aid and basic life support services. The chosen candidate will deal with school students performing sports activities in over three campuses.

[Are you new to paramedics? – get the essential qualifications you need: HLT31115 – Certificate III in Non-emergency Patient Transport or the HLT51015 – Diploma of Paramedical Science ]

A typical work roster includes Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 3-6 PM, Friday 12 – 3 PM and Saturday 7:30 AM – 1 PM.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Prior work experience with treating patients in pre-hospital settings.
  • Documents that prove qualifications as first aid responder
  • Follow working schedules set by the school
  • Access to cars for transport to different event areas.
  • Police Check and Working with Children’s Check
  • Good communication skills
  • Believes, follows, promote company values in making an ‘Acute difference’

Non-emergency patient transport and the role of an ambulance attendant can be very rewarding. Working in the local communities of Melbourne to provide essential services to those who can not make their way to hospital or doctors from their home.
