About This Role

SA Ambulance Service is looking for paramedics that will provide appropriate standards of patient care, and receive and respond to requests for emergency care and transport of patients.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and participation in the relevant roster configuration, satisfactory medical/physical examination assessment, and unrestricted South Australian driver’s licence is required.

Applicants Must Hold

  • A degree in paramedicine from a university in Australia or New Zealand with successful completion of an internship with a prescribed paramedical service.
  • A diploma or advanced diploma in paramedical science obtained from a training organisation registered under the Training and Skills Development Act 2003 or the Commonwealth or a corresponding law.
  • Another qualification as specified in section 11A in the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (South Australia) Regulations 2010.
