Wilson Health, the health division of industry leader The Wilson Group, is looking for the suitable candidate to fill the paramedic position for their Queensland operations.
The paramedic will manage a remote clinic and transport patients, and perform daily clinic, ambulance and equipment checks following the Wilson Medic One operating procedures.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Team orientated nature and excellent communication skills
- Satisfactory level of computer literacy
- Well organised and skilled in communicating with people
- Self-motivated and able to drive excellence in team environment
- Ability to work under pressure and independently in a remote environment
- Office administration and report writing
- Caring and empathetic approach to supporting the injured or ill
- Management of triage and emergency first aid situations
- Respond medical and rescue situations through demonstrated experience
- Participate in Incident and Accident Investigations
- Active participation in pre-start meetings
- Office administration and Report writing
- Perform on-site drug and alcohol screening
- Work closely with Site health and safety team for all reported relevant injuries, participate in and support all and any occupational health and safety initiatives in accordance with any site specific tasks
- Deliver specific health related training to on-site personnel
- Proactive and customer orientated approach to service delivery
- Excellent personal presentation
- Certificate IV in Healthcare or higher
- Certificate III Mine Emergency Response and Rescue
- Certificate II in Security operation 4×4 Course (RIIVEH305E or PMASUP236B or SISODRV302A)
- Current C Class Drivers Licence
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Police Clearance (issued within the last 3 months)
- Satisfactory level of fitness
- Strong operational experience in remote medical and trauma situations
- Demonstrated ability to plan emergency responses
- Drug and Alcohol Testing qualification
- Manual Drivers License
- Remote Site Experience
- Driving vehicles under operational conditions qualifications
- Current Security Licence
