Casual Paramedic Job FIFO Queensland

MSS Strategic Medical and Rescue is in need of paramedics willing to work on a casual basis and on rotational FIFO in Queensland. As provider of paramedical services all over Australia, MSS Strategic Medical and Rescue actively seeks proactive, passionate, and service oriented individuals to be part of its rosters.

Working as a casual paramedic in the team, you are expected to:

  • Perform initial medical service response to emergency scenarios
  • Proactive participation to FRT training
  • Support HSE programs.
  • Work under FIFO rotational roster (12 hours day and night shifts)

Location: CBD & Inner Suburbrs/Melbourne
Work Type: Casual
Classification: Healthcare & Medical Ambulance/Paramedics

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 3-5 Years Mining industry experience
  • 3-5 years Clinical/Industry Paramedic experience
  • Diploma of Paramedical Science – or equivalent
  • Hold current competencies in emergency patient care and resuscitation
  • Current Police Clearance
  • Drug and Alcohol Testing Certification
  • 4WD Driving Course (2 Day)
  • Certificate III in Mines Rescue and Response
  • Certificate IV Training and Assessor
  • MR Licence

Additional Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service & interpersonal communication skill
  • Self reliant and a team player.
  • Can work with client Fatigue Management Policies
  • Computer literate
  • Active previous professional experience working in the emergency services industry – (Fire Services, Defence Force or Mines Rescue)
  • Safety background, experience or exposure highly regarded
