Non-Emergency Patient Transport Officer (NEPT)

Job description:

Morton Group Medical is recruiting for several positions state wide to provide non-emergency patient transport for our private and public customers.

 

Job specifications:

  • Provide transport and basic care to patients
  • Communicate professionally, courteously and effectively with all your interactions
  • Maintain all the vehicles and equipment in a state of readiness to undertake work
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records
  • Comply with the provisions of license conditions and commercial NEPT Protocols

 

Applicants attributes:

  • Must display a polite and courteous manner
  • Professional and high level of personal upkeep
  • Must be physically and medically fit for the role
  • High level of customer service skills
  • Well developed written and oral skills

 

Essential criteria to apply:

  • The right to work in Australia
  • Minimum Certificate III Non-Emergency Patient Transport (NEPT) or ability to obtain certification within six months of commencement of the role; or be a minimum Level 3 Volunteer Ambulance
  • Officer with Ambulance Tasmania
  • Valid and clear Working with Children Check
  • Current satisfactory Police Check
  • A current, unrestricted C class manual driver licence
  • Meet vaccination requirements
