THE POSITION
We are seeking experienced Emergency Services Officers (ESO’s) that are results driven, self-motivated passionate professionals with a focus on customer service to assist in meeting our client’s requirements. ESO’s that are committed to the highest levels of safety, proactive and can work well within small teams, function at a high level in fast moving ever-changing environments. The position is Perth based.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this opportunity with Wilson Medic One, you must be able to demonstrate that you have the skills, experience & licences:
- Diploma of Paramedical Science or higher (or equivalent)
- AHPRA Registration with the Paramedicine Board of Australia
- Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response and Rescue (equivalent or similar)
- Alcohol and Drug Screening Officer Qualification
- Certificate IV Training and Assessing including LLN
- A current Provide First Aid qualification (HLTAID003) or willing to obtain
- Current and valid C Class Drivers Licence
- Working with Children Check
- WA Police Clearance (issued within the last 3 months)

- Demonstrated ability to plan emergency responses
- Well organised
- Demonstrated experience in an Emergency response environment
- Computer literacy including an understanding in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Ability to work in a team and assist in developing staff
The primary functions of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Providing immediate emergency response to incidents
- Work in accordance with Client and SDS policies and procedures
- Conduct medical treatment in a clinic
- Conduct onsite drug and alcohol monitoring, as per client requirements
- Conduct routine checks of emergency response equipment
- Ensure equipment is fit for purpose and ready for use
- Complete other tasks as directed by the Client
- Maintaining medical equipment and acting as a medical point of contact
- Communicating expectations to staff and responding to queries in a timely manner
- Ensuring contractual obligations are met
- Other Emergency Response Officer related duties
