Chief Executive Officer, SA Ambulance Service, SAES 2 level Contract Appointment up to 3 years
They are seeking an experienced candidate who can achieve successful outcomes in a complex multidisciplinary organization, within a climate of continuing change.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) provides leadership to the SA Ambulance Service (SAAS). The CEO is responsible for the sound governance and management of SAAS to ensure it fulfills its purpose, effectively exercises its functions and complies with its financial and policy obligations.
The CEO actively contributes to whole of health system reform and quality improvement, ensures SAAS meets its obligations to deliver agreed services within an agreed budget and specified performance standards, under its annual Service Agreement with SA Health. The CEO establishes and maintains effective communication and consultation mechanisms with SA Health entities and services, other State entities and local stakeholders, including clinicians and the community.
