Safety Australia, an organisation dedicated in creating occupational health and safety, is working with Sydney Trains in seeking paramedics for Sydney Train customers.

The primary task of the chosen candidate is to be a unit readily responsive to on site health care assistance for injured and sick patients, working with registered nurses in rendering on site first aid and other related health care services in coordination with NSW Ambulance services for cases that require hospital care.

The roles of the paramedic working with the organization involves facilitating safe travel through ready first aid treatment, providing assistance to sick and injured passengers on trains and stations, prioritizing transport of sick or injured patients and remaining beside the sick or injured patients until advanced health care personnel has arrived.

The job involves a Monday – Friday schedule with split shifts of 6 – 10 AM and 3 – 7PM.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Police and Working with Children Check are mandatory
  • Current Advanced Life Support Qualification Is desirable
  • Good interpersonal skills especially when it comes to leadership and diplomacy.
