IMMEDIATE START:
Positions open for Team Leaders (TL) of an Emergency Response Team within the Oil and Gas Division – Surat Basin (Queensland Australia). The role includes a 14 on / 14 off roster with travel to site from Brisbane and all living expenses included.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
The minimum requirement for this role is the qualification PUA40413 Certificate IV Public Safety (Firefighting Supervision). If you do not hold these qualifications, please do not apply’.
Qualifications required include:
- Certificate IV Trainer/Assessor
- PUASAR032A – Undertake Vertical Rescue
- PUASAR025A – Undertake Confined Space Rescue
- PUASAR024A – Undertake Road Crash Rescue
- PUAFIR309A – Operate Pumps
- PUAFIR306B – Render Hazardous Materials Incidents Safe
- PUAFIR308B – Employ Personal Protection at a Hazardous Materials Incident
- PUAFIR307B – Monitor Hazardous Atmospheres OR PUAFIR316 – Identify, Detect and Monitor Hazardous Materials at an Incident
- HLTAID006 Provide Advanced first aid
- HLTAID007 Advanced resuscitation (refresher each 12 months)
- HLTAID006 Provide Advanced first aid
- HLTAID007 Advanced resuscitation (refresher each 12 months)
- Current Medium Rigid Driver’s License
Note: Evidence must be provided for equivalent or high qualifications to be considered for this position.
Team Leader Emergency Response key duties include:
- Demonstrated leadership skills and proven ability to supervise multi – skilled team members;
- Experience in participating in team training exercises and delivery of training to teams and clients;
- Experience in the applications of Australasian Inter-Agency Incident Management System (AIIMS);
- Responding to all incidents as required;
- Custody, management and maintenance of equipment.
