About the Jobs: 

IMS Victoria Patient Transport are looking for applications from qualified individuals to join their Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services (NEPT) in Victoria servicing Metropolitan Melbourne.

The following casual positions are available:-

  • Patient Transport Officers (PTO)
  • Ambulance Attendants (AA)
  • Ambulance Officers (AO)

Please note the minimum qualifications as set out below.

Requirements for ATA PTO & Paramedic Jobs Victoria (Essential): 

Candidates must be qualified as follows:-

  • Ambulance Officer – Bachelor of Health Science (Paramedic) or equivalent

Your CV should include a history of work experience, education and relevant training.

Candidates with previous employment, proven track record and experience working within NEPT, Ambulance or related services will be highly regarded.

Patient Transport Officers who are currently undertaking higher education (Diploma or Degree) are also encouraged to apply.

Whilst the role is predominantly Monday to Friday (Business Hours) you must be available to work a varied or rotational roster including some nights and some weekend shifts as agreed.  IMS has flexible working arrangements.

You must have a current drivers licence in the state of Victoria.

All applicants will be required to obtain a National Police Clearance (or show evidence of such application) and a Working with Children Check prior to commencing employment.

Remuneration is in accordance with the Private Ambulance & Patient Transport Industry Award 2010 (Modern Award).

Casual loading, shift penalties, overtime, on-call, meal and other allowances provided.
